Returns & Refunds

We’re here to create a better furniture shopping experience from top to bottom, and that includes a 15-day no-questions-asked return & refund policy for anything you get from Pelican Essentials. All you need to do is to keep the original packing with you. And we do expect the product not to be misused in the return window timeframe. If you need help, our team is here for you. Pelican Essentials reserves the right to refuse any returns.

Note: For returns, customers need to print the shipping labels that are required for our logistics partner. This is mandatory as our products are shipped in multiple boxes, and logistics partners are not able to distinguish between separate boxes without these labels. Since these labels are generated after a return initiation, customers need to print them. 

Note 1: All orders are eligible for returns for 15 days only, and any return request after 15 days of delivery of the product will not be entertained. 

Note 2: Shipping charges or any additional changes would not be part of the refund amount. 

Note 3: Pelican reserves the right to charge a 10% restocking fee on all refunds apart from shipping charges.

Return Eligibility

Products must be in pristine condition to be eligible for return (e.g., no stains, tears, or other soiling including odors). Accepting returns is at the sole discretion of Pelican Essentials' judgment of the state of the Products. Pelican Essentials reserves the right to refuse any returns. Pelican Essentials may request descriptions and images of the Products to determine the state of the Products before accepting returns. Failure to comply with requests by Pelican Essentials may result in Pelican Essentials’ refusal of the return. Failure to complete the returns process within 1 week of being provided instructions from Pelican Essentials may result in Pelican Essentials’ refusal of the return.

• Products shipped outside of India are not eligible for return.

• Full Order Cancellation:

  • Customers who cancel an entire order will not be eligible for the "15 days no questions asked returns" policy for their next purchase.
  • Should the customer decide to return the next purchase within 15 days, a return fee amounting to 10% of the net bill value of the returned items will be applied.

• Partial Order Cancellation:

  • In cases where a customer cancels only some items within an order, the remaining items in the same order will immediately become ineligible for the "15 days no questions asked returns" policy.
  • If the customer wishes to return any of the non-canceled items within 15 days from the date of purchase, a return fee of 10% of the net bill value of those items will be charged.

• Return Fee Details:

  • The 10% return fee is calculated based on the net bill value of the items being returned. This fee is applicable only within the 15-day return window from the date of purchase.
  • This fee compensates for the processing and restocking of returned items.

• Eligibility for Future Returns:

  • The restrictions imposed by this policy are only applicable to the immediate next purchase after a full cancellation or to the remaining items in an order after a partial cancellation.
  • Subsequent purchases beyond the immediate next purchase will be eligible for the "15 days no questions asked returns" policy, provided no further cancellations occur.

• Policy Application:

  • This policy applies to all purchases made online and in-store. It is designed to encourage responsible ordering and minimize the operational impact of returns and cancellations on our services.

• Notification:

  • Customers will be informed of this policy at the time of making a purchase and again upon initiating a cancellation. It is the customer's responsibility to be aware of the terms of this policy.

• Disputes:

  • Any disputes regarding the application of this policy will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with the aim of reaching a fair resolution in accordance with our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Refund timeline

Once a return or cancellation request is made, our company will initiate the refund process within 24-48 hours. The processing time for the refund by the banking institutions or payment methods involved may take an additional 3-7 business days.

IMPORTANT: Please note that if your returned item does not meet the conditions described above, Pelican Essentials cannot accept your item and it will not be eligible for a refund.
